Marc Sabbagh was born in 1962 in Beirut, Lebanon. He lived in Beirut and then in Paris and currently lives near Madrid.
He completed most of his primary and secondary education at the Grand Lycée Français in Beirut before continuing his studies in France. Marc is an engineer from a French engineering school. His professional career has revolved around technical fields related to management software. He has managed research and development teams in international companies. During his career, he has traveled all over the world and worked with people from very different cultures. In parallel to his studies and career, Marc has always enjoyed painting and drawing. He is self-taught in this field. On the walls of his house hang paintings by Kandinsky, Klee, Miro, Malevitch, Rothko, Klimt as well as masks and primitive African, Aboriginal, Native American, pre-Columbian art objects... In his library are stored books by Camus, Ionesco, Montaigne, Gibran, Buzzati, Asimov, Romain Gary, Steinbeck, gospels, books on Buddhism. Marc is passionate about mathematics and physics. He uses in his work drawing on paper, photography, digital media and image processing programs that he writes. |
